Lauren Bell, M. Ed.
Owner & Founder
Lauren Bell is the owner and founder of Hammond Bell Educational Services, LLC. She holds an M.Ed. in Special Education from The Pennsylvania State University and has over 10 years of teaching experience in public, charter, and private schools, specializing in dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities. Hammond Bell was founded with the mission of pairing passionate dyslexia and dyscalculia specialists with students to build strong, confident learners.
Our team collaborates with families and schools to deliver high-quality interventions for dyslexia and dyscalculia, using the Orton-Gillingham methodology, The Barton Reading and Spelling System, and other research-based approaches. We are committed to providing personalized tutoring tailored to the unique needs of each learner, fostering both academic success and confidence.

Morgan Breggren
Dyslexia Therapist/ Speech Language Pathologist
Morgan is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist and an ALTA-certified dyslexia therapist. Morgan has been providing reading/spelling instruction and support to individuals with dyslexia since 2015 and has worked in a variety of settings including private practice as well as public and private schools.

Morgan is trained in multiple Orton-Gillingham-based programs to help individuals improve their literacy skills. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys doing puzzles, spending time with her family, and binge watching her favorite shows. She currently resides in Mississippi with her husband and three sons.
Jess Corrine
Structured Literacy Specialist/ Executive Functioning Coach
Jess Corinne is a structured literacy specialist and executive functioning coach for children, teenagers, and adults. With over 20 years of experience in multisensory, evidence-based instruction, she has a deep understanding of neurodiversity and a passion for helping individuals overcome learning challenges. Her practice integrates evidence-based approaches for dyslexia like Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell™, and for ADHD/executive function coaching such as Social Thinking, CogMed brain training and PN nutrition facilitation to support lifelong learning. From California and based in Georgia, she is dedicated to empowering clients to build confidence and achieve their full potential at any age. Jess loves to spend time in the great outdoors connecting with her family and nature -- hiking, gardening and playing with her four phenomenal children!
Sariah Henke
Reading Specialist - The Barton Reading and Spelling System
Sariah has been with Hammond Bell for nearly two years and brings five years of experience with the Barton Reading and Spelling System. As a reading interventionist in the early childhood classroom setting, Sariah has seen the transformative impact of one-on-one support for ESL and dyslexic students! In addition to her expertise in Barton, Sariah has guided students through Heggerty’s Phonemic Awareness and Foundation in Sounds. She loves getting to know her students' bright personalities and creating safe learning environments for them to excel at their own pace. When she's not teaching, you’ll find Sariah at her local farmers market, cooking for loved ones, writing, or in her art studio.
Rosemarie Colón
Orton-Gillingham Math Specialist & Certified Math Educator
With over 10 years of experience, Rosemarie specialize in making math accessible and engaging for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning differences. Rosemarie is certified to teach math for grades 5-12 and has advanced training in the Orton-Gillingham approach and Multisensory Mathematics I and II. She is passionate about making math fun, helping students build confidence and succeeding. Rosemarie enjoys staying up to date on special needs math education by reading and researching the latest strategies. Outside of teaching, she enjoys physical fitness, health, and reading.
April Karl
Reading Specialist - The Barton Reading and Spelling System
April is a certified teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. She has been tutoring with the Barton Reading and Spelling System for 4 years. Outside of work, she enjoys nature walks with her husband and two kids, reading and learning to cook yummy Filipino food.
